Find out if Back Pocket is a good fit for your classroom

Teachers have a lot on their plates these days.

We want to make this easy for you - not give you another chainsaw to juggle.

  • Live training with our Back Pocket Founder

  •
Designed for those who work with middle and high school aged kids

At Back Pocket, we believe that coping skills are the most important and fundamental SEL skills and can be taught in a fun and engaging way. Our supplementary workshop was designed to simplify everyday feelings and break down how to apply coping skills in real-life situations.

We provide practical techniques and strategies to help teens effectively navigate stress, anxiety, and everyday life. Through encouraging emotional awareness, we empower them to recognize and understand their feelings in order to manage them in healthy and constructive ways, in and out of the classroom.

In these webinars, we will discuss:

• Why Back Pocket

• What the 5 session workshop looks like

• Where it can be implemented in your school

• How to get started

Upcoming webinar dates:

April 25th at 4:00- 4:30PM

May 2nd at 4:00-4:30PM

Meet your instructor

Shaney is a special education teacher who has taught in classrooms, in a nonprofit setting and most recently in an adolescent psychiatric hospital. However, her true expertise came from helping her struggling young son to develop lifelong coping skills. After working with her son and hundreds of struggling kids, Shaney realized that kids were not organically learning coping skills anymore, in large part because of the introduction of technology. Inspired, she compiled the tools and strategies that she has seen work best with kids, and wrote Back Pocket and the Back Pocket workshop.
